Your images must be up for over 24 hours to show up in the search.
Search is for finding art using keywords people have placed on the art page at upload. We also can search for artists names and titles now.
It is a good idea to add your name to your keywords. not so much for our search but for other search engines that may read them. Add you name to your IPTC keyword data and it will go up with every site you upload to.
Artists are also found using the search for Artists in the Artist Directory http://fineartamerica.com/artistdirectory.html (Pixels http://pixels.com/artistdirectory.html ) but only if they have a profile image attached to their account
There are five reasons images are not found in search
The keywords do not contain the actual, precise, word being searched for
The keywords have not been on the site for over 24 hours
The images have a safe filter on
The images are in password protected galleries
They are past the end page we show for any one search, which is 28 (1000 images)
If looking for iPhones on Pixels, you need to make sure they all have prices or they will not be for sale and will not show
If looking for licensed images, they are only available on http://licensing.pixels.com
If looking for your name on the image search or in the Artists Directory, you need to have had a profile image up for 24 hours or longer
